Saskatchewan Protected Areas

Saskatchewan Designated and Protected Areas Digital Data - The Saskatchewan Designated Areas Data project was created to map land currently described in text (usually in gazette form) and to provide access to this geospatial data through systems that comply with national standards. The described "designated lands" include the various National and Provincial Park lands (i.e. Historic Parks, Park Reserves, Recreation Sites); environmentally sensitive lands (i.e. Wildlife Habitat Protection Act Lands, Fish and Wildlife Development Fund Lands, Game Preserves); and some privately owned lands (i.e. Conservation Easements, Ducks Unlimited Lands, Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation Lands). Downloadable data or IMS available - see http://gisweb1.serm.gov.sk.ca/DesignatedAreasProject/DA_distribution/da_distribution.htm
